Photography for me was an interest that began in school. I was fascinated by the ability to take a scene and save it for all to see. I purchased my first film camera during high school and learned to develop my own pictures. Because the film I was learning with was black and white I was able to appreciate contrast, details and textures.
​
Photography took a backseat for a number of years until my wife and I relocated to Granville Ferry in the Annapolis Valley. This allowed me to return to the creative art of photography. Since then I have learned a lot on my own but look to learn from others any opportunity I can.       (thank you Scott)
